Ted Cruz
The Back Room Exposed
Political reality is exposed this cycle more than most. I’ve discussed the brutal nature of politics before, specifically that the vitriol between the candidates this cycle is no worse than many elections going back to the founding of the nation. So it’s not the vicious nature of the battle for the White House that is any different this election. It’s always been a brutal path filled with vitriolic personal attacks and I believe it will continue to as long as we’re electing Presidents.
The Election Of 1800…err 2016
Presidential campaign politics has hit a new low. We’ve lost our way and now only practice the politics of personal attacks instead of politics. The current campaign is why people hate politics and politicians. Really? Here’s a news flash, this campaign isn’t the first dirty one, and it’s by far not the worst.
The Trump Effect
Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is having a significant impact on the presidential election. So far he’s the only candidate to show a broad appeal across party lines with undeclared voters and working class Americans. Even among Hispanics he’s outperforming other Republicans…evidenced by the election results in Nevada.
Seems that the more he’s attacked, the better he performs in polling. Today is a huge day with five primaries in FL, OH, MO, NC and IL. Predictions lean toward Trump winning at least three tonight, FL, NC and IL…toss up with Kasich having the edge in OH and Cruz running a strong enough second in MO to make it interesting…
