CHASING NEWS: Brussels Attacked
Mayor Bill de Blasio said yesterday that there is no credible threat to New York City after simultaneous terrorist attacks were carried out at the Brussels airport and a subway Tuesday morning.
The attacks in Brussels come less than a week after the NJ Office of Homeland Security held a conference whose featured speakers included Chief Jarrod Burguan of the San Bernardino Police Department.
Burguan was in charge on Dec. 2, 2015, when two Islamic extremists staged a shooting at a county building, killing 14 people. On last night’s Chasing News, he told Chaser Alex Zdan about rushing to the scene and getting the first update from a detective about 30 minutes after the shooting occurred.
